PMC12 SUB

The PMC12 SUB is a high-performance active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, ultra-clean low-frequency energy for professional music, broadcast, and film environments. As a standalone low-frequency extension, it’s purpose-built to integrate seamlessly with any PMC monitoring system, bringing powerful bass reinforcement without compromising speed or precision. Its advanced design mirrors the full-range PMC12 monitor, utilizing the same ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) enclosure with LaminairX™ venting to ensure controlled airflow, improved efficiency, and tight, impactful bass response.

At the heart of the PMC12 SUB is a newly developed 12-inch bass driver that combines double-stacked magnets, a three-inch triple-layer voice coil, and a highly stable suspension system. This allows for extended pistonic movement while maintaining linearity, producing exceptionally low distortion and performance on par with typical 15-inch designs. Powered by PMC’s master36 DSP/amplifier, the sub receives 1000W of Class-D amplification, with additional features like optimized crossover filtering, excursion protection, and full room EQ via the SoundAlign2 web interface. When more LF power is needed, a second PMC12 SUB can be daisy-chained to scale headroom while maintaining full control and tonal consistency.
