Trinnov Audio has launched Altitude CI, a compact, fully networked Audio‑over‑IP (AoIP) processor tailored for the custom integration (CI) market. This device brings premium immersive audio—from high-end media rooms to DCI‑grade private cinemas—within reach of more projects than ever before.
Key innovations include native dual support for both Dante and Ravenna/AES67, enabling seamless integration with Dolby Atmos and DCI systems without external converters.
Its modular licensing model lets integrators scale channel count in 2‑channel increments, starting at 8 and maxing out at 32 channels for now, with a 64‑channel version arriving in 2026. Channel upgrades can be activated remotely via Trinnov’s extranet—offering flexibility without onsite visits.
Altitude CI also integrates Trinnov’s proprietary active acoustics suite—Optimizer™ for 3D room and speaker correction, WaveForming™ for low‑frequency optimization, and Remapping™ to ensure immersive formats sound accurate even in challenging spaces—powered by a 64‑bit floating‑point software engine.
Its installation-friendly 2U rack design includes eight analog outputs, HDMI I/O (4 in, 2 out), and three configurable Ethernet ports (two with SFP cages) for robust network setups. The redesigned user interface offers a guided calibration workflow for streamlined setup while still offering expert-level control.
To complete the AoIP ecosystem, Trinnov offers an optional Dante input board for the Amplitude 16 amplifier, enabling a fully digital, networked signal chain in just 5RU—ideal for high-fidelity installations.
Trinnov will debut Altitude CI at CEDIA Expo 2025 in Denver (September 4–6), featuring live demos, hands-on sessions, and a free training workshop on Audio over IP scheduled for September 3. Shipping begins in Q4 2025.
