Description
The Neve StarNet ADA24 is a 24x24 mastering-grade analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue converter built for seamless integration into Dante™ audio-over-IP systems. Designed for professional recording, post-production, broadcast, and live sound environments, it provides transparent, high-resolution conversion in a robust 2U rackmount chassis. The ADA24 features 32-bit integer resolution with support for sample rates up to 192 kHz, ensuring detailed and accurate audio across every input and output.
Balanced DB25 connectors deliver 24 channels of line-level analogue I/O, with selectable headroom settings (+18, +24, or +26 dBu) to match a range of studio and broadcast standards. Clocking is handled by a precision low-jitter system with internal and external word clock sync options. Dual Ethernet ports offer Dante redundancy or daisy-chaining across larger networks. The front panel includes an OLED screen for quick access to sample rate, clocking, network status, and full I/O metering, with additional visual indicators for signal and clipping.
The analogue output path incorporates the same line-driving technology found in Neve’s flagship 88RS console, delivering extended bandwidth, low noise, and excellent common-mode rejection. Remote control is available through the ADA24 software app, allowing engineers to adjust output levels and mute settings from a connected system. With its high dynamic range, low distortion, and reliable operation, the StarNet ADA24 is suited for critical applications where signal integrity and system flexibility are key.
